What we do

Our Foundation and Concrete Work

Five kinds of work, all of it on residential foundations and concrete.

We keep the list short on purpose. These are the jobs that come up on slab-built homes around Melbourne, and they're the ones worth being good at.

The common thread is that we try to establish the cause before recommending a repair. A crack sealed over an active leak reopens, and the homeowner pays twice.

Foundation Crack Repair

Sealing and repair for cracks in slabs, stem walls, and block foundations, after working out what caused them.

Slab Foundation Repair

Repair for slab-on-grade foundations that have settled, cracked, or lost support underneath.

What this involves →

Foundation Settlement and Pier Support

Underpinning and pier support for foundations that have settled unevenly.

What this involves →

Concrete Slab Leveling

Raising sunken driveways, walkways, patios, and garage floors by filling the voids underneath.

What this involves →

Foundation Inspection

An evaluation of what's going on with a foundation, and whether it needs anything at all.

Work we don't take on

We don't do general remodelling, roofing, or plumbing, beyond identifying when a plumbing leak is what's damaging a foundation.

We don't issue structural engineering reports. Where a property needs one, that's a licensed structural engineer's work and we'll tell you so.

We would rather turn down a job than take one that should have gone to somebody else, largely because the second kind tends to come back.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the problem on the phone. Working out which category it falls into is our job, not yours.
